Breon O'Casey, born 1928 in London. Son of Irish playwright Sean O'Casey. Has led a highly productive career over four decades. Has been a jeweller, painter, etcher, weaver and more recently he has taken to sculpture. His reputation has recently spread beyond the confines of certain arts and crafts circles. Lived most of his working career in Cornwall, serving apprenticeships under Denis Mitchell and Barbara Hepworth. One of the most versatile artists of the St Ives School. Friendships with leading artists such as Peter Lanyon, John Wells, Tony O'Malley amongst others.
