| Biography Born Falmouth. Studied at the Penzance School of Art and the St Ives School of Painting in the early 1940s. He was an important figure in the artistic life of St Ives in the 1950s and 1960s. Studied at the Goldsmiths College of Art, 1947-51. Curator of the Newlyn Art Gallery 1956-1965. Friends included Nicholson, Lanyon, Hepworth and Hilton amongst others |
