Biography

Clifford Fishwick studied at Liverpool School of Art 1940-42, 1946-47 in New York. In 1947 moved to Devon and taught at Exeter College of Art, becoming Principal of the College in 1958. Held his first solo exhibiton in 1957 at St George's Gallery. Exhibited widely, including shows at Royal Academy, Royal Society of Artists and the R.W.A. Two major London shows with Austin/Desmond Fine Art in 1989 and 1990. He was a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists and was associated with the St Ives Group.
